In the beginning…
In 2000, GOLFCOLLECTOR.COM was launched by father and son team Russell and Jeff Glasson to support Russ’s addiction to golf scorecard collecting. The original site was built as a forum where golf scorecard collectors could congregate and talk about the hobby they love. It was also the place where Russ was able to provide and electronic version of his popular paper-based “Scorecard” newsletter.

In the fall of 2007, Jeff and Russ decided it was time to take GOLFCOLLECTOR.COM to the next level. The end result is the site you are seeing today. The main portion of the site has switched to a blog format where you’ll find posts about golf collectibles, gadgets and technology. The blog will also serve as the new home for Russ’s articles from the “Scorecard” newsletter.
